Question p0099 code - chevy manager help!

i do have the gm upgrade. p0099 - intake air temp sensor 2 circuit intermittent. i think this is the lower map sensor that was replaced & sounds like possibly a wiring or sensor issue. has anyone had this code?

I don't recall anyone coming in with this code. Wiring would be my first guess, but diagnostics needs to be performed to verify.

Been there, doing that

My 2009 SS with stage 1 upgrade threw a P0099 and it's back in the shop for that reason and for the auxillary pump TSB. Dealer is replacing the lower sensor and going back over all the wiring done by a GMPP dealer in Stocksdale, AZ. To say that GMPP didn't think this turbo upgrade all the way through is an understatement.

Good luck with yours.

so, I had the same tech that installed the upgrade kit to fix the cause of the check engine light. by the way, the dealer told me, he is the ONLY tech that does the installs. tech found the ground wire rubbed thru against the a/c compressor. he said he zip tied the wires away from the a/c compressor. why didn't he do that the 1st time?
