very similar.... mine seemed to have more of a "clapping" noise but that could be just from the audio not being the same as real life...sounds great at low rpm's, then when you put your foot down, its sounds pretty bad...

I installed it, definitly not backwards. they had a orange sticker that said "inlet", along with it being imprinted on the muffler...

I ordered one of the Flowmaster HP2 shorties. I'll let you know how it sounds when I get it put on.

(If it sounds bad, I'm gonna blame SS fan!! )

sounds like you hooked up an air compressor to your tail pipe...I can attest the shorties do not sound like that..almost sounds like your was restricted..collapsed internally,,maybe bad welding..? Should never sound like that..never heard a Flow like that and others here have used them without that problem, though some didnt like the drone..
Just read Bowties blurp..a guess would be maybe the sound accoustics amplifies the Turbo exhaust in ways it wasnt meant to, wonder how it would be with resonator?

So far everyone has liked the sound of it, so you can blame me if you don't like it. I also replaced the resonator with a 22" glass pack, when I did the first exhaust, just thought I would throw that in there it's over two years old so it probably isn't doing much at this point. Nobody here said oh my God turn that thing off.....

Lol yup I agree. Low RPMs sound great but anything more and yes sounds like a air compressor :/ I guess I can try the flow master HP2 and see what happens

They make a couple of them different stainless. They also have a regular lenght HP2 I went with the shorties to have extra room in front of the fuel pump to get over to the second one.

Sure. 2.5 will work. I was just stating that the stock size is 2.25.
You could weld up just about any size HP2 Shortie if you wanted to.
