Fwiw. I went with the muffler delete about a month ago. Sure it sounds more aggresive. But. After a long run on the Interstate, this isn't gonna work for me. At a steady 70-75, the drone noise gets really irritating. I now have a muffler in hand waiting to get installed next week.
Mine being a 5 speed may be different, but the rattle, gurgle, ricey, popping sound when changing gears also gets old very quickly.
Just my opinion.

I hear you. Luckily for me I live in Los Angeles and don't really do long trips anyway. I actually like that sound, idk call me immature I guess lol but like you its just a opinion. Beauty is in the eye of the beholder. Still not as loud and annoying as a Harley motorcycle right? Those things are crazy loud

Put it on Fireman, I was driving mine 70 or so uphill, and had to turn down the tunes to see if I could hear the exhaust.

Yeah, got the "shortie" sitting in the box. Stuck it up against the tailpipe (engine running) for a sneak preview. I think it will work fine. Thanks for the recommendation.
Too busy this week doing volunteer work at a Champions Tour Event(golf) out of town.
I'll get it put on next week.

Hey Fireman I'm dying to know how the single shorty muffler sounds ... how's about a clip for us?

Here's a solution

I installed a small polished stainless resonator. Rumbles w/o resonating.

Sounds good to me. About halfway between stock and the muffler delete. No drone sound on the interstate like before. None of that popping, sputtering, crackle sound either. My wife had asked what was broken on my exhaust. Said it sounded crappy with the muffler delete. AND this was from a woman who used to drive race cars!
Sorry. No sound clip. I don't have one of those new fangled phones.
I might try to get a sound bite with my trusty camera.
