No, sorry, I don't have the technical knowledge.

Well. I had a tech look at my car to help me today and said my fuel pump on the front of the car is bad. We can smell gas in my engine from oil cap and he said fuel is bypassing into engine and causing it to run rich. So ordered fuel pump and seals and lower high pressure fuel line. Hopefully this solves my issue and someone else can benefit from all of this.

So is it fixed? Just curious. Currently troubleshooting a similar issue with mine and have found the issue.

Sorry, just noticed you posted yesterday. The LTFT is that at idle or while driving around? Also what does the STFT do during hard acceleration? Mine currently calls for a rich condition at idle, but when accelerating, calls for a lean condition. I do have fuel in my oil, similar to you but being caused by the car running rich consistently, which I only found out after replacing my upstream O2 sensor. When you take the oil cap off while the car is running, does it stumble or does it have some blowby? If so I might actually know what is causing it, as mine started with a faulty injector, that clogged my cat and fouled my O2 sensors and pcv valve, which is in the intake manifold, it's the little black piece on the engine side, and was initially caused by the timing chain tensioner failing. I have it in the shop to confirm the timing chain issue on Monday.

My LTFT is from like 15 miles of driving. The car is leaning out at much fuel as possible because it is consistently getting fuel according to the tech from fuel pump because it is leaking past it. He said he has done 4 DI fuel pumps so far on Cadillac regals and similar gm 2.0 turbos that clearly show seepage from bad fuel pump. The car code for mine is running rich while accel or cruise and the car cannot compensate for what is blowing by the fuel pump. I have a new fuel pump and will update Sunday when I get it installed and show as many pictures as possible. If it is a timing chain issue for you that is super important to get done asap. Mine is confirmed with a newer motor and will be checking timing chain stuff sooner than later just to make sure it's all OK so I hope I don't have that issue currently. During hard accel or idle my STFT is still negative all the time trying to compensate for that extra fuel. I looked up at my work nation wide and for the hhr ss p2178 the confirmed fixes 3/5 times was direct injection fuel pump and 2/5 was o2 sensor. My o2 sensor is currently reading i think correctly. I have never taken cap off while running i took it off shortly after starting and it was highly concentrated with gas so I went ahead and ordered the pump. The pump is located on the block and I'm glad It won't be hard to do! Will keep everyone updated. Thank you all for your help.

Change the oil and filter, gas in the oil, will wash the main and rod bearings resulting in a catastrophic engine failure.

Nobody ever checked the oil? It should be over filled and growing.

I parked the car until I fix it Sunday. Already got oil as I figured it would clean it out if gas was in there.

Yes I did check my oil but the tech said that the amount of gas mixture varies because it does burn out of the car. Mine is thin though and very potent smelling. Car part should arrive today and I can get it put in tomorrow.
