omg another problem

So yesterday july 4th we were going to use my car to go see fireworks w the kids... til I saw a huge puddle of coolant under my car. getting it towed to the dealership but looked and couldn't really see where its coming from. Hoses looked good, water pump looked decent n didn't see any spots on radiator... this car might get traded in after this... lol weird thing is, it hasn't been drove in a few days so it just randomly leaked yesterday

Do you always park it in the same spot? The reason I'm asking is that another member nearly had heart failure last week thinking his SS had developed a big coolant leak, and it turned out that the car that used the space before him was the one with the big leak.

And have you checked the coolant level in your HHR?

Turns out the radiator had a crack at the top where it extends for the hose. Got a rental but gonna have them go through the car as deep as they can. I don't mind it falling apart, but everyother week almost something else. Lol but more curious why a crack formed... never herd of one just appearing?

Oh and to get it on the flat bed, he scratched the front bumper, n was driving like crap n it threw my car to the side of his flat bed and scratched the rim. Horrible job from "GM'S roadside Assistance "
Its about an inch long.

Sorry to hear of your troubles. I had a cracked radiator in my other car. but yours is a little to new to crack from age. I hope all your auto problems are done after this. Best of luck.
