Hi, My 2008 HHR SS started throwing code P0013. When I looked online it says it is oil control valve. Is this the PCV valve or is it different? Also where is it located on the motor? Please advise...Thanks, Wayne

p0013 - - the exhaust cam VVT solenoid failed - - very common on the GM 4 cyl's - - it's a cheap & easy fix - it's on the top of the valve cover on the passenger side - - you will see 2 solenoids - - look closely at the valve cover & you will see a mark IN for intake & ex for exhaust - - -it will be the rear one - closer to the firewall, since our exhaust is on the firewall side. you need to raise the air cleaner box a bit - - you will need a 10mm socket to remove the solenoid - - - btw - o'reilly auto parts has them in stock - about $45 - - & they have a lifetime warranty, as opposed to a 1 yr warranty from the chevy dealer
