Oh, ok I get you now. Yes, we are saying the same thing, the turbo cuts out after 3 seconds. The link donbrew provided in post #9 has good information about this issue. It very likely is the boost control solenoid, in the picture I provided. The only thing I can't figure is why there are no codes.

I replaced the boost solenoid and it's still doing the same thing and the cel came back on with a regular code- p2261 and a continuous code p0234 - I starting to really think the wastegate ? Ideas or thoughts

You alternate between no codes and there are codes. Which is correct?

Do you understand how the codes work and the difference between "regular code" and "continuous code"? If not, it might be easier for you to re-read the booklet that came with your code reader. We can attempt to explain here, but the terminology is different from maker to maker and you may just get more confused.

The P2261 seems to pertain to the bypass valve per this thread

P2261 - Turbo/Super Charger Bypass Valve - Mechanical

The P0234 is wastegate related per this thread

But, some historic codes will clear themselves and some pending codes will go away. That was why my question about understanding codes.

So I would suggest to address the P0234 code in this case as it is the continuous code

I would give it 3 cold start cycles and then check it.

If the p0234 does not re occur, in several cycles it should clear. I don't know how many.
If the p2261 does re occur it will become permanent.

At least that's what happens with most codes.

Code reader from O'reillys and found the 2261 and 234 over and under boost codes .
