Problem after zzp intercooler system install.

Hello. I've just installed a ZZP intercooler with all the piping on my 2010 SS automatic.
Now looks like I have a problem.
Before the install my inlet temperature was always 1-2° more than outside.
Now it is showing 30° difference! Also my coolant is showing 183° on average. Was around 192° before the install.
Has anyone with ZZP intercooler system have same thing happen ?
I've already called ZZP, and left a voice mail. Thanks.

Everybody seems to like theirs!!

I'd suggest either go out and double check your install look for hoses loose or popped off, cracked pipes and interference from the fan wiring

The intake air temp is measured by the MAF sensor. Check the wiring and air leaks.

I've spent last 2 hours trying to find any leaks or loose conectors. Everything looks fine. Engine works fine. Realy confused about temp difference.

Are you still drawing air from the same location as before? Is the MAF sensor in the same location as before?

I can't think of any one thing that would cause those 2 symptoms. Has any other work been performed? For the IAT issue, have you cleaned the MAF? Do you need to? Are you using an oiled air filter? For the coolant temp issue, maybe your thermostat is on it's way out? Kinda grasping at straws here, maybe try a battery lobotomy, disconnect negative terminal for 30 minutes?

I disconected the batery for 1hour yestarday. Didn't help. By the time i got to work today (20 miles) inlet temp was showing 96° with 38° outside temp (58°difference!!). the car is stock exept for the GM stage kit ,wich was installed about year ago, without any problems. Everything was working properly before intercoller sistem install. Left another voicemal to zzp. Hopefully they will get back to me.

Weekend, and now holiday, you probably won't hear from them today.

Those symptoms are quite perplexing. Just spitballing, if you're running the AC(or recirc, or defrost), that would cause the radiator fan to run, decreasing coolant temp, and possibly raising engine compartment air temp. But if you're in stock configuration(drawing air from behind the headlight), that should only affect IAT nominally, if at all.

Then again, on the SS, the fan is running almost all the time anyway. In California anyway, maybe not in Ohio winter.

Did you check for any pending codes?

The SS has 2 IAT's. One at the MAF the other after the intercooler.

Did you relocate the MAF sensor or change the inlet from the factory box to something else?
