I guess that maybe with the A/C off the engine comes up faster in RPM and also boost without the drag of the A/C compressor. Thanks!

I understand, but you said it was.

My SS did 20+ boost in all 5 gears till just recently... GM could not explain it.

I'm not sure GM has any of our cars right. Mine boosts higher with the air on by 2 lbs. I can't wait to let Vince tune it.

I have about 4,000 miles left of bumper to bumper glad they recertified it, they did things I didn't expect (replace carpet) but I got a good dealer they only did that cause I bought it from them. It's great that I can drive 30miles north and meet Vince in person at the dyno, should get it right first try. But you know I'll be working him for the discounted cable so if I add anything later I wont have to go meet him.

That is sweet SS. I can't imagine having the ability of just having Vince do the tune on the dyno. Take pics!

It's happened to me about a dozen times and they still can't find the problem. So far they replaced the waste gate actuator and the top map sensor. They claim my ECM is programmed for the Stage 1 kit. This time it has bee in the shop since last Friday and I've been driving their loaner "Cruise" ever since. 5 lbs of boost just doesn't cut it.

Well just wait till they tell you 5 psi in 1st gear is the way "it's suppose to be".

Is the MIL on? Do you know if it stored any codes and what they are? Does your vehicle in fact have the GMTU?

Welcome to the site. Maybe if they look around a bit they will find the rest of the kit?? What did it boost before the problem ?
