Day 15 in the shop, still waiting on boost sensor that's on backorder with no ETA for delivery. I want to blow up my rental.

Day 18 in the shop...traded rentals, got out of the base power-nothing Cobalt and into a tinted power-everything HHR. Still missing that floor-it-and-go feeling of the SS but at least I'm comfortable again. Still waiting on the boost sensor. I noticed that the car I'm in (probably a 2010) doesn't have the little blue light or the map lights, but it has a real domelight. Wish I had one of those in mine...plus the little blue light, I've gotten used to that haha.

I've only had mine a couple days, but what is the "little blue light"?

It's more off-blue, I guess, but it's the little LED near the rearview mirror that shines down on the center console when your headlights are on. It's not on newer models, so if you have a '10 or maybe even an '09 I don't think you'd have it.

I think 08 was the last year for the light like that. It was made to shine on the window switches on the console.

Ah, I have a '10, so I don't have it.

You can have mine. I wish I had the 10 Dome light. That little light is useless in a SS.

Day 23, still in the shop. Keep reminding myself how great the first tear out of the lot is going to be. It's funny being in an HHR with almost identical interior to my SS, I can almost forget that it's not my car...until I press the gas.

update - The boost sensor came, but I still can't get the car back. Not sure why or how this is now a problem, but now it also needs a new downpipe. Sweet.
