Where is the Turbo Coolant Bypass ? i even searched Google and nothing for HHR

 

Probably should've started your own thread for that. I'm sure one of our friendly mods will help us with that. Regardless..

The turbo coolant bypass is located on the front/top of cylinder head. Located above the upper radiator hose. The return from turbo runs to the rear of the engine. Near the thermostat housing if memory serves me correctly. They are both secured with a strange banjo bolt. I think it's 14x1.0 mm If you're looking at the turbo the water runs top to bottom.

-nope I lied. Just Google Image searched. Oil runs top to bottom, the water IN/OUT is on the same side facing the rear.
