i am having some issues with boost i have the gm stage kit and i am getting variations on boost pressure some times i can punch it and it will go to 14psi and let off the throttle a couple of times and it will go to 23psi like normal i have no codes.

 

If its not due extreme changes in temperature, it almost sounds to me like your diaphragm is collapsing your stock BPV spring and its getting stuck. I had a similar issue and found mine collapsed at 600 miles on the OD, put a new dejon spring in and fixed.

Not guaranteeing this is the issue, just sounds similar and the Dejon spring is like $10. You could try that or take it to the dealer.

 

i have that on the other hhr i may pull it out and try it the motor and turbo only has 500 miles on them

 

I would, 30 minute change out max, might save you a trip to the dealership.

 

I have had two stock turbos with the stock BOV.......everytime I pop out the BOV, it is swallowed by the diaphragm. Similiar issues observed in boost as your describing. Dejon spring resolved everytime.
