Unreliability did me in

I am done with my SS. Too unreliable to continue owning it. The wastegate needed repairs twice and now another engine problem.

The latest was losing boost, the CEL coming on and the engine going in to limp mode. I haven't heard from the dealership yet, but I am tired of having a poor running vehicle and needing to bring it to the dealership. I am scared about how much things will cost me once the warranty is up!

My SS only has 35,000 km (22,000 mi) on the odometer.

I will be test driving the new Subaru BRZ/Scion FRS and the Ford Focus ST asap.

sorry about your problems. In truth - not a happy car. I wish you a healthy horse for the future.

PS Turn your attention to the production of Volkswagen. Come across a very decent specimens.

Powerband is not linear, seems be 3200rpm til redline
I didnt feel confident merging into traffic nor passing due to lack of power
Hated clutch seemed spongy

Now when got on some side roads it shinex throw it into a curve and its almosr effortless to slide through

Supercharger or small turbo and youd have permagrin lol
Im just not willing be test mule for the motor or transmission lol

Thanks for the condolences!! I do love this car!! Maybe this would be the last problem it ever has.... Who knows??? This time it was the high pressure fuel pump. The parts should be here in a few days.
