zzp s256 install into automatic

The oil drain back tube and the wastegate dump tube both hit the automatic. Anyone ever run into this issue?

Supposed to have been for automatic, but I doubt this piece was. Is there any real pressure in this line? it appears it just had a hose clamp on it.

update.....

Matt at zzp spent most of the morning working through this issue. Apparently very few automatics have this kit installed and maybe wrong parts got packed. He is sending a different oil drain line and a recirculated downpipe. Quickest and easiest fix.

Here's a dumb question. Could that tube be turned 180 degrees and then it would fit ? Just wondering if it could have been put on "backwards" at the factory.

It ran into the firewall when reversed. Replacement is a longer hose with simply a fitting on each end. The auto has a different shape than the manual.

Thanks for the clarification.

Yeah. Since the autos and sticks use different mounts, the engines also sit in the engine cradle at a different position relative to each other.
I seem to recall some earlier threads that stated the engines with the auto actually sit a little more forward than the 5 speed engines do.
That was one of the reasonings behind the auto guys having more issues with the GMTU wiring hitting the AC compressor.

Anyhow. Glad ZZP is taking care of you.

BTW. Who's handling the tune for you after you do the install ? Just curious.
