A tubular bar would save maybe 5-6 lbs...
The price would be almost double, do to the fact we would make it from chromoly, we dont think 5 lbs for $150 is worth it? Maybe we are wrong?

Consider how much people pay for CF hoods. On a sport compact, they might save what, 20lbs? I know that's alot more added bling and usually some functional venting of some sort, but still, I'm trying to avoid adding weight as much as possible. I'm considering a Braille battery to reduce weight, so that should give you some idea. Handling is fun on the commute and on the occasional cruise through the twisties, but that doesn't matter at the track. Why is chromoly so expensive to do? Not complaining about the existing product, just asking questions.
