If yours are on a 5 x 100mm bolt pattern, the second part of your question is already answered, HHR's are on a 5 x 110mm bolt pattern so they won't fit without an adapter/spacer. That opens up a whole other can of worms involving the offset, etc.

...yeah. agreed...thats kinda where I was heading next...

I do have a buddy with a wheel shop in my area...my next step was scouting out an adapter for offset.....

providing I acquire the proper spacing, is there forseeable problems beyond that I guess is my question???

the wheels were free..so anything I have to spend on fitment is no biggie....

They ride like crap compared to a "regular sized" wheel. They offer less traction and being from MA, the roads are a bit rough so you take a good chance at damaging one of them.

Not to mention how foolish the HHR's small rotors and drum brakes look behind them.

thx Rod..I hear that!....

Im probably gonna give'em a run for a month or so over the summer..see how things go... they are in my cellar already...Im not gonna be out much giving it a try...if anything, I'll be able to give some feedback to the board afterwards..

speaking on bad MA roads, trust me..nobody knows better than me..I ride a hardtail motorcycle with a springer frt end.... u aint seen a rough ride till u twist the throttle on my bobster!!

...or at least sell them and get ones that don't require adapters.

My advice would be to ditch 'em and get yourself a set of 18's in the proper bolt pattern, why do all that messing around for a month or two of summer driving?

EXACTLY!!

If you think they aren't going to be a good thing, why even bother with them at all?

Honestly, when people say stuff like that it is usually a cop-out, so they can just have an excuse to do things and hope they don't get any slack for doing it. Not saying that's your situation, but that's almost always the case. It usually ends with something like "I ended up banging up the wheels a bit on some curbs. I can't sell them now because they are damaged, so I may as well keep them eventhough I don't like them".

U guys are goin a bit off base....lol

opinions on style is one thing..but to say "its a bad thing" is a bit relative.

Ive seen several HHRs rolling on 20" wheels that look sweet, I merely am giving it a roll to see how my car looks/rolls on them..... with little trouble in the matter...

you sound like the kinda guys who say the same about choppers like i ride...lol... they say "get a bagger, its more practical and comfy"...then I say "Id rather push mine than ride yours"....

just lookin for feedback....and unforseeable tech/mechanical issues I may run into before trying them...nothing more...not advice as to whether or not to try them...

thx guys... appreciate the replies....either way...
