09 panel not recognizing ss wheels
09 panel not recognizing ss wheels
I just purchased a set of SS wheels for my 09 panel, cant get the panel to learn the wheels. Did I just buy something that wont work? Do I need to put the censors from my factory wheels in the SS wheels? HELP.
Would not recognize it at all.
Wheels had tires on them when I bought them.
BOON-
Are your stock wheels near-by when you try to program the SS rims ?
That could be the problem, if not, you may need to break a bead & make sure you do have sensors in the SS rims.
If no sensors, you can use the ones outta yer stock rims. Just need NEW rubber 'snap-in stems' see pic..

Batteries in sensors are 'supposed' to last about 10 yrs.. (sounds good anyhow)..
if you are synching them correctly by using the DIC option in-car, then maybe the sensors are not compatible..
What year was the SS wheels from?
Did these rims/tires you bought come with the sensors inside?
