You can't do that. Firstly, you'll loose the lug seat. secondly, you can't get it perfect enough and it will vibrate. It has to be done on a machine designed to do that and you will need to press in inserts. It costs about $40 per wheel.

Really not enough to make any difference. I think one would have more wear and tear from constant rapid accelaration than anything else. I could understand having an adverse effect if the offsets were way crazy and the geometerics of the bearing load were changed negatively. You know, one just can't worry about every little thing in life either. If that were the case no one would ever consider buying a SS HHR over a stock one.

Well, I'm not worried about it, just commenting... And not everyone wants an SS, I know I do not.. I prefer "Built & not bought"..

And when ya buy the SS, it IS stock..

Hmm....in this case the SS stock will still put out more then a built LT.. and the SS can be built on top of all that, which is already being done, and not that expensive either...since you'd have to go turbo or SC to even get close, your costs are way higher and we won't even get into long term reliability.......
Besides, when you buy an LT.. also stock...and slow...lol!
