That will come later in if I can get a nice smooth surface after st least 1,000 grit wet sanding, I like to go up to 1,500 or even 2,000 grit then on to rouge and then metal polish like Mother’s

 

Yes those chrome-clad plastic mags hold up well & no pitting, like conventional chrome. Dodge Ram has been using those for decades on the bigger trucks & duallys.

That sounds good.. I think polished alloys are much classier than chrome. But that's my opinion..

Blue- If you are just gonna have them PC, you don't want the finish too slick, gotta have something for the powder to bite into.

 

My first thoughts are to polish them, PC is second, but I’ll just glass bead or walnut blast them, sand blasting is to harsh.

 

I vote for full polish as well. If you go PC aren't ya wasting yer time & sandpaper, if you would blast them for prep anyhow ?

 

I have to try the sanding and polishing steps to see how they turn out.
PC won’t be until next winter or spring, I don’t want to remove these tires and valve stems TPMS just to PC.
so , no a waste of my time, just something to do with my time.

 

True. Blasting is the best prep for powder. Helps adhesion.
