When I got summer rims and tires, I didnt get them switched, now I just have the little tire light on.
WOW, it's about $20/tire to have one dismounted/mounted here.

If you want the sensors, might be cheaper to pick up a set off EBay.

Yeah I think it's the same here about $20/tire.

Our tire shop removed the old sensors for free (you can do this without removing the tire from the rim)! and just charged us the standard $20.00 a tire to install! They even through in new valve stems that the sensors mount to, woo-hoo .....

I suppose you could take one bead off and unscrew the sensor, but the shops I know would charge full price for that anyways.

Black Cobalt SS 18" wheels with Pirelli snows on 08 HHR SS

I paid ~ $450 for them w/about 1/2 tread left on the Pirellis
I added Malibu/Caddy TPMS from fleabay for ~$50
My sensors read 2 lbs low but I know that so ok.
It's worth calling around to different shops to get the best switcharoo price.

$275 is smokin so jump on it before someone else does
