I went to Autozone and picked up some body plugs. They have a huge assortment...just a matter of getting the right size for the holes. I used a generous amount of black silicone in the holes and then around the threads and head of the plug. Worked out very nice...messy as hell at first, but once I did a few I got the hang of it. Never once had a problem with it leaking and it's been in some heavy rains.

Since I'm new here and I'm an oldie, please forgive my mistakes I'm not very techy. I have owned several of these wonderful vehicles over the last 6 years and just purchased an 08 panel and thought about fixin her up a bit. My question is are there any old style wheels out there that fit these things and does anyone have picture of them. I really like torq thrust wheels by american racing. Help an oldnewbeee

Welcome aboard Mitch
Torq thrust II rims are hands down my favorite wheels as well.

here is a link to them on an HHR and I am sure other members will chime in on these rims on an HHR
To me the Torq thrust II's are a blend of the old an new a timeless classic rim

Thanks for the link on the Torq Thrust wheels. What size did you go with? Back spacing seams to be the issue.
