SPACERS...Safe or not?

An old trick used while using Vette rims on other cars, as they were offset wrong, was to take the spacers and have them drilled and screwed to the rims so they act as one piece..reason spacers are picky is you now have two surfaces for the assy to move around on and loosen the lugs,,making the spacers part of the wheel eliminates that....just use the correct lenght studs...and if you get the right spacers(or have them made) you wont lose the hub centricity
