Steel wheel difference question

What makes the 5 spoke wheel different than the "holy" wheel? Is the 5 spoke more concaved? Maybe a picture or two would be good. What years or models did the 5 spoke come on? Thanks.

Hello Mongo! I see the difference now. Do you know if only the panel came with them? To have them powered coated or chromed wouldn't look half bad. Would need some type of center cap and a trim ring.

I think they are still 16, but its easy to check.
Beginning in 2008 these are the wheels that come standard on the LT and the alloys became an extra cost option.

Mine are 16" wheels.

I painted the rim silver and left the center black

My 08' LT is white. I thought about removing the gray plastic wheel covers and painting the 5-spoke steel wheels white (when it is time to replace the tires). I'm just not sure how to cover the center hub. Another option is to get the steel wheels chromed. Anybody have thoughts or suggestions? Don't want to spend the money for fancy wheels... I'd rather spend the money on more garage tools.

The 2010 malibu has the same PCD of 5 on 110mm with a steel wheel that you described but in the 17" version.

I personally find white wheels look tacky. My advice is to do as the previous posters did, leave them all black or paint the outer rim silver.
