Stock Black steel 5-spoke wheels

malibu wheels

I wrestled with the 5-spoke issue too long. I tried painting them white to match the vehicle, but the center hub never looked right. I found some Malibu LTZ wheels on this forum and painted the insides to match. The problem is that these are bigger wheels and use low-aspect tires in order to fit the wheel well. They even have the Chevy emblem in the middle. My daughter hit a pot hole and damaged the new tire (aauugghh)… and these tires are not cheap.

I have been running the plastic covers with black plasti-dip, works well, looks good, but rattles a lot :/ . Now I just go without, bought some black lugnuts, used the last of the black dip on the ugly hubs, cleaned up the rims and I like it. I'm still wanting to get the Wheel Vintiques smoothies w/baby moons, but the CFO says it's just not in the budget at this time....
