Tire question

I have lowered my hhr with the second generation goldline springs and was wondering do you think the 215 60 16 will fit without rubbing the suspension in the front. Cuz I want to get the baby moons and in order to get a 2inch whitewall that is the tire size I need. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I know the stock size is 215 55 16. Do you think that little increase in the sidewall would rub?

Hharry has Goldlines and 215/60/16s (also to get the 2" w/ws) on Wheel Vintiques smoothies. There's no problem with the front - it's the rear you need to worry about. The wheel opening lip/plastic wheelwell rubs the tire sidewall on big bumps/dips. The more weight in the car the more likely this is to happen. It hasn't appeared to hurt the tires but can't be doing them (or my nerves) any good. The Goldline installation instructions said to remove and pitch the rubber suspension stops but in hindsight just trimming them might have been more prudent.
