Wheel Size Question

If I go from 16 to 18" wheels will it effect the speedometer?

Just keep the overall diameter of the tire the same and no problem.....

Going to 18" I would get tires that are 235/40/18, just a hair bigger than stock. The wheels should be 5x110 bolt pattern, 7.5"-8" wide, with an offset close to 42mm.

I went from the stock 16" LS wheels to a set of 18" Cobalt SS/SC wheels with the 235/40's. With my speedometer showing 60, I'm actually doing 60.2

I wanna bump too. but just to 225/50/17.....Any bigger I'd need wider rims.

The 225/50/R18 would have your speedometer off by approximately 4 MPH at 60...
