Exactly my thoughts, but everyone has different ways of looking at their street races I guess. I seriously doubt our 2.2 or 2.4's would hang with a 2.0T.

The 2.0T seemed very quick for a car that is 40hp less and 300lbs heavier. (than stock HHR SS auto) I used to have a 2.4L HHR. You are correct, no way it will touch a new A4. But the 2.4L HHR did seem to move surprisingly well within a certain peaky rpm range and could surprise folks that think it is porkier than it really is. I think the hp of the 2.2 isn't all that far off the 2.4, at least in the mid rpms.

Yeah, Im not arguing the whole 2.2 vs 2.4. I'm super surprised by the quickness of my 2.4 but I've never raced it. It'll spin the wheels upon acceleration with or without the traction control enabled. I did a burnout the other day when turning into my works complex. I hit the gas and it broke loose...I got a nice woody from it! These wagons will surprise you that's for sure.

thats my ultimate goal! the supercharged LS lol. and i figure hell if the SS is around 240hp at 2.0l i really wander what the 2.2 would achieve with a supercharger kit.. i believe it is. but yea i was haulin down 70 honestly just tryin to get home quickly! and i notice this bright red audi tailing me. so after about 5 minutes of weaving through light traffic. he just gave up couldnt cut the gaps in time lol

Ha same thing here in my 2.2. I left to black marks on the ground by our four way stop the other night.

I looked on the ZZP site. It looks like you'd be around 200whp with the supercharger kit. (and at least $2500 lighter) Trifecta does the 2.2 tuning for them. I wish I could have done that to my old 2.4 and still have it CA street legal. Might want to check your local laws.

exactly what I did...didn't want to spend a fortune, when the stock internals would not be able to handle the boost anyway...the LNF is far better when it comes to being able to handle power.

Weird, one of my posts vanished down the memory hole. I was specifying that it was whp not hp at the crank.
