It just sat there!
OK this is just like one of those cartoons where Wille Coyote sits and spins up his legs then starts moving.
2 days ago, about 11pm, I was just getting off the interstate, when 3 guys in a yellow neon SRT pulled up next to me, and were definately looking for a race. I looked in the rearview, not seeing anyone, I thought what the hell, lets go. It went quickly, I wasn't thinking, I mashed the launch control, and tried putting my foot through the floor on the gas pedel...... Not the greatest pavement.... Light turned green I was at 3200rpm(too much)..... They went and I sat there spinning my tires....the spedo read 80mph and I was in third gear before even grabbing, which immediately shot me foward at about 50mph.(I swear I won't do it again, but dam when it grabbed, it snapped my head back) The neon had two guys truned around in their seats, with big smiles, until they realized I was about to blow their ****ing doors off! They were doing close to eighty when I blew by them, after having to make up almost 4 car lengths.... What took me by suprise, was looking down and seeing the speedo at eighty while I was maybe going 10mph... No wheeel hop, but no traction either. So after the race, I stopped for smokes, they stopped... Said they knew the SS was fast but, not that fast... They honestly thought I was playing with them, by lagging behind. I didn't tell them it was a **** up on my part
