Deb, I really like your new banner. So many of you have got cool banners. I would like to use one, but i don't know how to do it. Can you help me out?

Thanks...it's from some of the new photos that I took of the HHR.

I am pretty proficient with Paint Shop Pro and Animation Shop. If you or anyone else on the forum would like, I can make one up for you as I have for myself and several others on the forum. Just PM me whatever you would like included in a sig tag, along with ideas you have in mind and I'll be happy to work up an HHR tag for you.

In fact, I'll contact the powers that be and see if we can set up a sticky somewhere for tag requests. I'd be more than happy to do this for our HHR family.

Yes...and as I stated before, it's a two way street. Men are just as guilty of that as are women. It's called having an Equal Opportunity memory.

On the contrary...I totally understand the desire to mod a car, now more than I did before I got the HHR. My boyfriend Henry has a 74 Olds Cutlass that he's always doing stuff to like changing the rear end gears, carb changes, springs, tires...the list goes on. I didn't really "get it" until the HHR, and now I can appreciate what he does and why, and it has brought us much closer together because of it.

Ticked off...not in the least. It takes alot more than words to really rile me up...so it's all good.

You are soooooooo right!

Years have passed since I had so much fun planning, scheming and installing stuff on a car to make it look special. I have only had mine a week and with the chrome trim and stuff already done you wouldn't believe the looks and smiles I have gotten driving it in a week. Not that I did it for THEM, but it encourages me to do more! To top it off my wife thinks its great !

Niether this Wife, or my Ex, are/were much into changing things on the car. A car is just something to get them from "Point A" to "Point B" and back again with the least amount of fanfare.
20 years ago I had a new '85 Honda Civic Si that I did quite a lot to, but most of it was for performance and not visible. So it didn't bother my then Wife (It was better times too!)
I've done a few little things with the HHR and my Wife's comment was " Just don't make it obnoxious" !!
That's why it's like walking on eggs trying to get the IMCO muffler put on it !
