I’ve installed these PowerStop kits, nice complete kits not a lot of brake dust. As your 14 year old SS gets older parts are getting scarce at the dealership

As we see here there are different levels of brake kits from PowerStop to choose from, slotted and drilled rotors , different pads . I posts in post #8 a great little bit better then OEM rotor and pad kit, better for street use.

Here’s a shot of the MAF location, just the other side of the elbow and that clamp

Here you can see the neck , now if it’s cracked before the MAF , it’s going to allow that unfiltered air in but before the MAF , can cause the MAF to read incorrectly.

But I know I used the three press the throttle pedal method in Oldblue, every 10,000 kilometres, from 54,000 to 484,000 that’s 43 oil and filter changes! I wonder if someone with an ‘06 would try to reset with the three tap method?

The orange piece is the wiring harness connector to the fuse panel and BCM there should be a bolt holding it in place

A look under the orange plug, we see the metal threaded nut, which might be loose.

I installed this in Oldblue a decade ago, no improvement, and the cold air still comes from the same hole in the inner fender.

I sold that air box and went back to this double cold air source set up with a drop in K&N replacement filter. Still the same miles per gallon, no real HP gains .
