Camping with a teardrop

I thought it would be cool to find a wrecked HHR and make a trailer from the body, front door back...
The pic of you camping looks like it was taken at WDW Campground in orlando (used o work there).......or are you just a mickey nut :)

I have never camped at the Fort, maybe someday. Camping and Disney are two of my fav's, but for some reason I just can't combine the both of them.
I have seen pics of old vehicles used as a camper, just like you are imagining. Some saw off the back end or the front end. I was actually on the look-out for something that I could do like that, but, then the idea of a foam camper came up, and that is what I decided to do. Perfect for the HHR.
..now the foam camper is something that anyone can build. It takes no special tools. I started with just a kitchen steak knife to cut out my shape. I have learned that a jig-saw is much better though (or an electric carving knife). other than that, some gorilla glue, titebond 2 glue, primer and paint, and canvas.
I'll look around some more to see what other pics I have of my set up, with the HHR of course.
Thanks again everyone! I appreciate the kind words.

Camping with a teardrop
Looking at this forum I saw these photos of your HHR pulling a teardrop. Here is a link to our teardrop that I just finished building and hooked up to our HHR. https://picasaweb.google.com/1157170...t?noredirect=1
