Drove from home in Welland Ont, Canada to Orangeburg SC about 850 miles! No oil or trans fluid drips, averaged 32.6 MPG, had a slow down between Statesville and Charolette NC.
Must be cause Mike weren't home!!!

It's not at 20,000 feet but it's an HHR , filthy from the two day , 1,300 mile trip
Today just hang out and maybe a trip to Fort Desoto, no it's not a wrecking yard for cars of the Cunningham family.

Intending to put an electric cutout on my SS. Has anyone had experience with these.

I saw one being installed on one of the car shows on TV in a $60,000 build so they must work.

Any opinions?

I've seen them done on TV never thought about it on the HHR.
Where do you put it? Before the muffler or before the cat?

I've also been researching them to install on my BB car, because I shift it as high as 7500, but I'm not so sure a stock HHR will see any benefits though. With the engines as small as they are, and torque at a premium, you'll will give too much up at low rpm. Our race car that runs a mild 350 benefits greatly with full exhaust and a muffler for what we are wanting.

Typically they go before the cats, but that can get you in trouble on the street if that's where they are being used.

PS I'm not familiar with turbos, so I maybe wrong.

Now flying at that altitude would be very unhealthy for my pilot's license.

As for the what I did with mine today, we piled into the '06 for a trip the our doctor's office, all three of us came back from the Finger Lakes and the York train show with respiratory infections.

Antibiotics all around, and I'm off flight status until cleared by the Flight Surgeon at work, ugh.

But I did score a couple of sweet pre-war Lionel locomotives at the train show.

Yesterday was a trip to Fort Desoto, then over the Sunshine bridge to Bradenton and over to Anna Maria Island , we had a great lunch at Mr. Bones.
We didn't see Beachbum , but he might have been working!
Today we're headed to Fort Myers to the Edison / Ford homes

Thanks Oldblue, feeling a wee bit better, but after a quick run to the Food Lion to grab the usual things you always run out of, I couldn't get Paddy tucked in the garage fast enough.

45 minutes out and about just cleaned my clock, but our son is feeling better, he even watched Thomas the Tank Engine yesterday...Michelle and I can handle being sick, but when my Little Man is feeling poorly, it's hard to take.
