Huh, I just realized the yellow was supposed to be the stiffer one. I'm sure the green is better than my old stock one. I didn't notice any problems with the green. I'll try the yellow tomorrow morning. I'm using HPTuners and doing my own thing, so I'm not sure how my tune compares to Trifecta or GM "stg1". I was pushing 10-12psi stock, now I'm running 20-22psi. I don't have a spike and fall back on boost, it just jumps up to 20-ish on heavy throttle and stays 'til I lift my foot. I hope that means I'm doing it right.

I didn't try the green, most stg1 is 20 to24lb, same as you are running, might make it a little more responsive.

Yellow spring went in easily this morning. With that spring, I seem to hear the BPV a lot less, but when I do, it seems like it has a louder, sharper noise than when the green spring is installed. I pushed a good, solid 22psi testing it, so I guess the yellow is more appropriate going forward. I'm not sure about a difference in responsiveness. I think the green spring works just fine. Someone with higher boost and/or hard pipes might benefit more from the stiffer spring.

You might consider the intercooler and hot pipe, before boosting much more. they have a history of giving out, and denting the hood up !!

I'm aware of the limitations of the stock pipes. I don't want to side-track this thread about it, but I'm in CA. I can get a legal aftermarket intercooler, but AFAIK there are no CA legal hard-pipes. I'm not sure how easy it would be to swap hard-pipes if I got a ticket or didn't pass inspection. I wonder if I could reinforce the stock pipes somehow.

I'm in CA also. There's no such thing as an illegal intercooler or charge pipes. Mod away my friend

Well, game on. I thought the CARB exemption business applied to anything in the intake path. I'm going to do the upper hot side pipe.

Its only really only if you go to some place that THINKS they know what they are doing when it comes to inspections, or just go to a place that is lax on inspections lol
