Confused in TEXAS?

I was wondering what does a block off plate do for our cars, is it a good increase or a pointless product?

Has n e one tried to buy just the intake tube for the k and n intake kit, i believe it is the only part in that kit (besides the filter) that may increase our performance?

What exactly does the intercooler do for our turbos, does a bigger intercooler mean more power, or just more intercooler?

One more, how can a e3 spark plug help our cars, or are they just hype?

N E HELP WOULD BE APPRECIATED. THANKS

Bigger IC will cool the air a little more. You may pick up a little power depending on how much cooler the air is and how the computer reacts to it. The best thing to do it take it and have it on a Dyno and get it tuned once installed.

e3 are like SplitFire plugs and the Tornado. All Hype!

On the intake tube some have made their own but for the most the stock system has little to gain. the K&N will gain 9 HP on the SS, GM did a pretty good job.

Block off plate I am not sure what you are talking about there. To mee that is a radio delete item on the old cars or what you use to block off a ERG valve that the SS lacks.

he's talking about blow off valve block off plate. right now,it's pointless, unless u put a BOV on. gcsd and a couple of others has done this. better turbo response.

hyper is correct on the ic. i noticed my car pulled harder after the install. imo,if you don't plan on doing any tuning to the car or going with a bigger turbo, then the stock ic will do.

i love it!!! imo,the BEST exhaust out there. very nice tone with the horsepower to match. you can get away with going catless too. i have 3inch turbo back no cats. no cel lights either.

I looked around at alot of different types, and the hahns looked the best, i'm probably going to go with the downpipe and cat back exhaust, do they make a header for our car?

you don't need a header. we have turbo cars. some cars have turbo headers, but we don't need it.after all bolt on parts are done and you have a tune, the next step is upgrading the turbo.
