So make sure they fully understand instructions and extras for HHR. I made my service manager and tech doing job go over it with me. I then had them show me the install before I paid

On other part you are correct keep your 5yr/100k. But maf falls under 3/36k marker
The maps can be had for FAR less than $93 if you do a search. They are a standard Bosch part. I suspected they wouldn't be covered but I haven't looked at the warranty list.

My install has been fine so far (year or so.) I do watch the lower one.

So if I was to buy a kit from my local gm dealer and they installed it would it in any way effect my 3 year 36000 mile warranty I have?

If you buy on ebay, you probably will not get any warranty at a dealership on the kit, even if a dealer installs it. If you buy on ebay and a dealer does not install it, you get ZERO warranty. This is because you didn't buy from GM. If you buy from a dealer and you install it yourself you get a 12 month warranty. If you buy from a dealer and that dealer installs it you get the remainder of the factory warranty or 12K/12 month whichever is greater.

If you buy from an online or local dealer and have a different dealer install it, the warranty gets murky. I have installed kits bought at my dealership and kits that were bought online and I give them the full warrranty as listed in the second paragraph above. Other dealers may or may not do this, because technically buying at the Retail Parts counter or buying online is a 12 month warranty.
