More than anyone ever thought it could...
I've been torturing my automatic, for 5 years now.
1.8s 60' foot times at the track, every run, with slicks...
I'm sure someday, it will bite me, but it hasn't shown any
signs of wear, or fatigue

To make it live.
1. Use only 100% synthetic fluid.
2. Reduce the shift time in half, with HPTuner.
3. Change fluid every year, I have a "Dorman" pan with a drain plug,
which makes it real easy to do.
4. Don't use the biggest, & stickiest tires on the street, as you don't
want to "dead-hookup" , all the time, on the street, as spinning
the tires, is less stressful, on the trans...
5. Add more torque reduction, via HPTuner, during shifts, at RPMs
Up to 3,000

What are you making for power? What are your mods?

So far I'm just tuned but I changed my fluid at 50k and added a secondary trans cooler. I've read that the colder you keep the trans fluid the better you are.

I'm sure he will chime in but I know he is running different trans fluid. The secondary cooler is a good idea. Where did u mount it? Pic?

power/mods are in my signature...
I use 100% synthetic Valvoline…
I don't use an add on cooler, but I'm sure it will help, if you do a
lot of 'twistys', or auto crossing, or live in the south...
