There's really no way to limit boost, as our ECM is totally torque based.
By that, I just mean, that you can't set, a numerical boost limit.
That being said, by limiting torque, you are limiting boost.

Stock 5sp 1st gear is torque limited, starting at 1,000rpm, by only allowing
51% of available torque, & slowly increases to 63%, by 4,000rpm.
So a rough average of only 60% of available torque, is allowed in 1st gear,
with should really work out, to more than just 5psi, on a stock "tune" ??

Most tuners give you 100% of available torque, all the time.
I can see where limiting torque, with street tires, in 1st gear, with a 5sp, could be helpful.
But, I belive that you said that you were going to use slicks at the track.
If so, ask Vince for a track "tune", that gives you 100%...
This way, you can load your track "tune" in your ECM, before heading out
to the track...
I read a post you made about doing tq reduction below 3k rpm by half does that mean doing say 50% tq until 3k then up to 100%? Or start at like 1.5k and gradually move it up from 50 and go gradually to 100?

Torque reduction is ONLY during a shift...
I would never reduce operating engine torque as you can never have enough torque...

Got er strapped into the dyno again after the update: 331HP 407TQ

This was at a local street racing event(legal). Pro tree 1/8 mile, stop light drags, and roll racing. I'm happy to say I went undefeated in roll racing.
Here are the victims:
Early 90s ford thunderbird- no competition
Late 90s pontiac Grand Prix GTP. Fully bolted and tuned makes 325 whp
Chrysler 300 with a procharged & intercooler Hemi V8
2011 Subaru STI hatchback, fully tuned, and some other unknown mods(best race of the night for me, very close and I came from behind for the win)
Hit a new best 1/8 mile time of 8.91 @ 86 MPH with a 2.3 60ft. I need slicks bad. No street tire can handle the vicious spool of our K04 on E47.

AWESOME...
A good E47 'tune' , will always put you over 400 TQ , A buggy on steroids...
Vince did you right…

It's always hard, trying to tell guys, that E47 makes our buggys a torque monster...

Yea, 400 TQ , with wrong-wheel-drive, SUCKS...
Slicks + 400 TQ = 12's...

Yea he did. But, I believe all the detailed info I provided him(drag logs, street logs, and dyno graphs along with my own evaluation of the performance) helped him figure out what the car needed and what I expected. Torque management is still a problem though. The track was so sticky in the beginning of the night, I was able to just drop the clutch(slipping it ever so slightly) and it would hook then bog down. If it didn't bog on those first couple runs I probably would've gained at least .2 of a second. I hope he is able to remove it completely so i can manage my own damn torque with the pedals lol. Here is a video of the 331hp/407tq run:

Good to see you guys are still making tons of power on here I still come in and read up when I can.

After receiving a bunch of advice and info from 2005hhrauto
I was all set to buy hptuners software early spring
Unfortunately my gas station that sold e85 that is 30 minutes away stopped selling it.
now its over an hour ride.
But my local speed shop just started selling e85 racing fuel made by renegade I believe. It has picked up a friend of mines car I help tune almost two tenths over the e85 at the pump. But they charge like$10.00 a gallon which is ridiculous
Anyhow got involved working on my drag car/street rod .
Then got the bug to buy a new mustang gt

Really need to get that 2005hhrauto tune loaded.

Next is a 6-speed conversion. My current f35 wont hold over 400 ft.lbs for very much longer.
