They told me the code was for the Mass Air Flow sensor. They didn't give me a #. I will pass on the info. I can't tell you how much I appreciate your speedy response and expertise.

If they don't find an issue with the wiring at the TMAP sensor down by the A/C. They should check the MAF wiring.

Another place to look is the connectors to ECM. I have heard of a connector being loose and getting water in it causing boost to shut down.

A while ago I had that issue where boost would top out at 5psi every now and then. Dealer replaced the TMAP sensor and it was fine for a while. However, I still have that problem randomly, but it corrects itself and I get full boost again after I give it a few revs. I don't seem to be getting check engine codes anymore, but its still quite annoying, and it seems to happen less when its colder out.

Can I just bring the car to the dealership and have them perform this update without a check engine code? https://www.chevyhhr.net/forums/show...&postcount=113

Sounds like you have a short somwhere, spcially with the colder conductivity comment, have they solderd the connections? Also which T-map Upper, or Lower? The lower one hits the AC on WOT

They used the crimped connections. I don't recall, the work order doesn't say. They cleaned up the frayed wiring as well when they were doing it. There's plenty of room for the AC line

Crap! After 9 days of flawless operation, my upgraded turbo now performs irradically. Revs up to 5lbs and drops to zero. Rev it again, and it will go smoothly up 15lb and then dive back to zero. A few times it won't boost at all. I gather from the other posts here that this is possibly:

a problem with the crimp connectors.
a problem with the wiring adjacent to the AC tubing.
a bad or mis-seated MAP sensor.
a MAF sensor problem.
a hose clamp issue.

If you were trying to self-diagnose the problem so I can give the service tech some help - my local dealer isn't the one who installed the upgrade - where should I start? Or should I just say screw it and let the dealer turn on the money-odometer?

As in the past, thanks for the help!

Give them all of these to check and it should be under the drivetrain warranty unless you have 100,000 miles.

They should be able to resolve this faily easy as all of these are easy to check. Besides they just installed it correct? They should take care of this.

My dealer even removed the front bumper and adjusted my intercooler to make sure the T map did not hit at no cost to me.

Thanks hyperv6. Unfortunately, my local dealer isn't the installing dealer. I don't relish making a trip back to AZ to get this done right but maybe I'll have to.

I had this same problem if I remember the code is P0101. I was told that my K&N filter was causing the problem. After swappin the filter back to stock I still have problems. I've had the stage kit for almost a year now and the SS has never ran perfect. I had them solder and shrink wrap the connections, they installed a new turbo(cracks in housing) last spring, tightened hoses and clamps, dejon spring upgrade, blah blah blah. It just doesn't run properly, but when it does it's a blast. Right now it'll barely boost to 20psi, it used to hit 23-25psi. I have an 08 auto. Lately I've been losing boost a lot more than usual, maybe the cooler temps have something to do with it. Other times it won't go past 5psi. I noticed that when driving @ freeway speed if I stay in I the boost is still there but as soon as I shift to D and try to pass it has a noticeable loss in boost. Sometimes 12psi or 5psi or 0psi but not the stage 20-24psi.
