Actually the 2.4L model gets worse gas mileage if you don't go crazy with the fast pedal.

Just ordered my kit from CrateEngineDepot.com...$562.95 shipped (vs. $750 at the dealership, and $700 shipped from gmpartsdirect.com). My expected labor cost is ~$245. More than some ppl have paid, less than others. If the install is as hairy as it's been sounding, I consider that a fair price (looks to be about 2.5 hrs labor). Definitely looking forward to this - just need to get started on my taxes so I can use my refund to replace the hole in my savings account...

Ask what code is being set. Have you done the waste Gate Mod or any other mods?

The only other mod besides the GM tune is a drop in K&N filter......if you want to consider that a mod. I will find out what code is coming up and post it when I can.

Mine was done for $110 (116 w/tax) and I was in and out in just over 2 hrs. Car runs awesome! I went to the same place as Bart, but apparently they must have had something else going on at the same time or something.
