Like to say thanks to everyone that replied. I am going with the idea that its not so much a torque steer problem as it is a loss of traction problem. I have tried to driver position myself to be as confortable as I can be and not be jerky with the wheel when the left right thing happens. Guess I have to wait for warmer weather and maybe a new set of softer compound tires. One of you guys mentioned traction bars. Wheel hop could be it too. I have been abusing this thing in 30 degree weather, I am going to wait for warmer weather and reduce tire pressure to 28-29 lbs. and see what that does. One last thing, switching the comp mode off was a solution for some one out there. I am under the impression that when in comp mode the ecu is running a differant map, turbo pressure, static, dynamic, variable timing, maybe fuel pressure I don't know what else, there by resulting in More Horsepower more torque. That would explain turning off the comp mode helped solve torque steer for him. GM engineers put a lot into this little motor and its computer controls and safe gaurds and I expect that I should be able to flail it to its fullest potential. Thanks again for your time.

Awesome reply Ed.....we should see a difference in performance in more optimal weather....that sweet spot between too cold and too warm.

hold down the traction button for 10 seconds for the ESC flash, and that removes even more torqure steer (or all )....(but try to only do that when the roads are dry)

I played with my button on a snowy day and believe you me....not recommended!(Umm..button on the dash thank you very much) You don't realise how much control the ESC/TC has till you knock em off and try to gas it( not flooring it either)! Was all over the place....the system works quite well in the bad stuff.
