Sounds great man, really mean! Probably too loud for DD like you said but really mean sound. Thanks so much for posting the video, the sound quality is awesome. This will help me sort through my exhaust options

 

I love my Hahn exhaust. I'm running only muffler, no resonator or cat. It's very loud at startup, but once the RPM drops, it's much more mellow. Great throaty sound why accelerating and then when you level off at driving RPMs, the tone is manageable with very little drone in the cab. I also have the bigger turbo, the sound is great. My 3 month old son sleeps through it, so it's not a head pounding drone like some exhaust systems are.

 

Well after a month of driving around being loud as hell, i should get my muffler tomorrow. I can't take the horrible drone anymore. I will save the straight pipe for one very special time of the year, Woodward Dream Cruise.

 

Post a video of it after you get the muffler (what kind of muffler?). I didn't care for the straight pipe sound but, then again, I never have liked that sound from any car.

 

I'd be curious to know if adding just a muffler would cancel any of that drone. Keep us updated please!

 

I was able to get a Hahn bolt on muffler, when i got it i didn't think it would do anything, i was way wrong. it makes it so mellow. much better for daily driving. still a nice sound, I will get another video by the weekend. i do miss hearing the turbo out of the back though.

 

Do you still have a good amount of volume though? I love the way mine sounds now with just the high-flow cat, for example, but I wish it was louder.
