30/70 methanol/water mix. It's got a Snow Performance controller on it that's currently set to start coming in at about 12# of boost.

BTW: Whats under the hood?
We already have a fuel volume problem to solve on gasoline... trying to run alcohol or methanol would only exascerbate it at this point. Once we get the magic answer for how to get more fuel (in the appropriate window) through the injectors, I would imagine we'll see people starting to toy with E85 and E95. 600-700-800 streetable horsepower??? Hmmm...

The HHR has a GT3076 on it now. Still working out the tuning... it's a slow process, but you can tell the potential is definitely there when you can spin the tires into smoke in second gear... and like my golf swing, I have to do some advance correction on the trajectory thanks to some serious torque steer. I am eager to get the tuning worked out.

On the truck? It's a cruiser, not a racer... inline 6. Those are 3 deuces sticking through the hood.

Nice photoshop with the David Perry photo. I always see it in your signature, but have never paid attention to see that the 29 sedan isn't behind Heidi Van Horn. I was like, hey, wait a minute! lol

I do like the truck!

nice to see some pics of the truck, that thing is going to be so nice when you finish it, going to stay with that blue color? its a good looking color. and i love seeing cars/trucks sitting on the ground. and i know what you mean by a wallet eater.

good choice on the color of your hhr as well. ive had mine now for a year and have put off doing anything to it, but im starting to get the itch to start tearing into it more and more. the wife is even telling me to get started on it since its her dd

Garagebuilt...

It's called water/methanol injection because you can do either/or... NOT BOTH.

What??

Sorry to "Raine" on your statement, but that is totally false!

The injection system can use a mix of ANY percentage.

Well... typically you use windshield washer fluid... which is a certain percentage of methanol and water (and a little soap). So yes JoeR... if you want to be that picky. I was merely stating that I haven't seen anyone use straight water.

It's kinda like running NOS, or Nitrous... it isn't the nitrogen that matters, that is just an inert part of the chemical... the oxygen is what gets you the extra power.

Water alone was used in nitrous injected WWII aircraft engines to prevent detonation/pre-ignition at high altitude.
