I was using the stocker. Check with BartSS or HHRSouth. I believe they have used external BOV on their SS's at one time or another. I've read no gains except for sound unless your planning a bigger turbo in the future, plus you have to tune for it as well. I traded my SS in on a Lightning about two months ago.

i need a tune for a BOV? so pretty much i need a tune for just about everything i want to do to the engine?

If you don't have stage 1 you will want to tune for the power. I have stage 1 and a k&n and exhaust and I throw no codes and boost a little over 20. Some others have had a problem with codes when they stick in the k&n I have cleaned mine twice it looks dirty after 8,000 miles the stock one I took out looked clean and the car had 19,000 when I got it. I still have it incase my car decides to change it's mind and reject the K&N.

wait, are you talking about the GMTU? bc i think im going to get that in the next month
