So I'm going with a gtx3076
I don't know if I would want to go to a 4.45 gear with a larger turbo like that. 4.45 is pretty aggressive and will affect spool time.
I understand it helps take stress off the gears, but I would try different ways of strengthening the F35.
I guess it really comes down to what you want to do with car.

Spented about two hours at his shop today going over options
He is going email me documents on f35 but he basically confirmed your concern on bearings
And I'll agree on your gearing choice and turbo
After trade in quote on my HHR and add in me tearing down all work done return to stock.. Not worth it

Yeah i try to do my homework lol. I would also add some bracing to the casing as well. Keep me posted
Eco, there have been a few cars I've owned, that I could kick myself for getting rid of. I'm not making that mistake this time, it's paid for and already has a spot in the garage. Might as well keep it, and if the retro fad is over we are likely not to see anything quite like it ever again. I'm not saying it's gonna be worth something, I'm just saying the likely hood of finding another car like this one is gonna be tough. I'm gonna keep replacing parts till it resembles a v8. Lol.
I agree with you my only regret was I accepted the automatic....
And like you mine is paid off
Only has 42k on it and trade in was sadly only 14,500. And in couple days me returning it to stock and selling off parts.... I'd have spend around 35k just get in same horsepower range

Ordering a devils own dvc30 with sumped tank, solenoid upgrade, 10gph nozzle, and braided stainless lines tomorrow. Ordering the new trans next week to be shipped to engineered performance to have 4.45 final drive, tighten bearing preloads, and brace the casing
