pretty crappy choices.
Well, I have installed 4 GM upgrades total. The one issue that I had was with my car (the first install). It is the best bang for the buck. I work at the dealer and can tell you, GM is cracking down on ECU's. We have declined alot of warranty work for that reason. Mainly on diesel. But the same holds true for V8 and 4cyl including the LNF. Save your pennies and go the GM route. You will not be disappointed.

That's good advice. The E69 is particularly nasty about ratting you out to the General. Even if you flash it back to stock, it records the number of flashes, and it had better agree with GMVIS. Nothing directed agains any of our vendors, but there are a lot of idiot "tuners" out there, and I don't blame GM a bit for denying warranty on ECMs that have been altered. You can't beat the kind of HP the stage kit gives you and remain under warranty.

I agree to an extent. If you put an aftermarket tune in your car, such as myself, then you should be prepared to deal with the consequences...

HOWEVER, since the GM tune keeps you in the 260ish maybe 270whp area, I will have to argue the you cant beat the HP the stage kit gives you comment REGARDLESS of warranty.

I'm hearing nothing but good things about the SuperChips tune on the CobaltSS forums. Check it out:

http://cobaltss.net/forums/showthread.php?t=173617

I want to order one of these TODAY! I'm curious about their 2-year powertrain warranty though, does it just cover you if the SuperChips tune itself is faulty in some way and causes damage, or does it cover you if the tune is working as normal and, for example, your turbo seizes up? The only thing stopping me from ordering this is the warranty issue
