Trifecta vs. Hahn

Two SS HHR's limited slip, 5-speed, no other mods other than respective tunes. No track times, just a game of "follow the leader" on a "closed course." Obviousely there will be different factors at the dragststip i.e. driver and conditions, but this is the result. Nothing to exciting actually. Did a roll from 1st gear throught third equal. Did a slow roll in 2nd building boost throught third, same results.....equal. Drove the trifecta tuned HHR and it felt very very similar to the Hahn. I own the Hahn and am very happy with it but......for us who have this, most likely we had the tune before anyone had one out yet, hence the reason we paid $6-700 more than the trifecta. Lack of companys equals high cost. What are ya going to do!! To sum it up, everything felt very similar on the "course" nobody left anybody and we had fun. We'll have to wait for some side by side action at the track, but for now this will have to do. I have no problem with the Hahn tune at all and am not knocking it, but from this test alone I know what my choice would be if I was looking to buy a tune. By the way, the option of using comp mode to turn the tune on is an awesome accomplishment and good idea!

It was a lot of fun. I also should add that at first, I was a little disappointed that with the Trifecta tune, my boost in 1st gear was still limited to 6lbs, while the Hahn goes up to 15lbs. BUT after having the Hahn car hit boost so fast, and not being able to shift quick enough, this first gear "limit" only seems to IMPROVE traction, while my buddy in the Hahn is just up in smoke

Then again, he is a better driver than me, so he wins there.

It was nice to get out and finally do some "feel of the pants" testing.

The 1st gear limit with boost is a lot easier to drive, i'm just interested to see if the Hahn can hook up at the track in 1st, if it will show it the 60' times. I thnik that may be the only difference between these tunes.
