Turbo Upgrade kit question

OK.Here's the deal. Some of you know I have the GMTU kit in a box at home. I've had trouble trying to find a local dealer to do the install. Well, finally I talked to a Vette tech at a dealer and he checked into it and said he would do the install. He said it would be his 1st install, but to him it didn't look hard at all.
Here's my dilema: I would like to do a test install myself. I would like to mount the 2 sensors and the new plug-in wire harness'. Why? To check for any of those clearance issues that are well known about. Also I might catch any problems before the tech does the real install. I would also like to trim the "tab" on the one sensor as required.
I would not start the car or even turn on the key.I would swap back to the old parts before using.
So the question is. Does anybody forsee any problems with me doing this? Ex; Computer senses a disconnected sensor. Any thoughts would be appreciated.
Thanks, George

What is there to check ? Unless you move the intercooler, or have a plan to change the attachment of the lower sensor by 90 degrees, your wires, new connector or not, will rub on the condenser. Take a copy of these to that willing technician. This is what the willing performance technician at my dealer came up with when it came back to them. I haven't had a problem since. That new adapter was a long time coming out, it should save you one trip back. BTW trifecta over the new sensors rocks.

Thanks SS fan. I guess you meant compressor instead of condenser. I'm doing the GMTU because of warranty. Any mods such as a bracket like you have I will build myself. I'm an ex-mechanic and any extra fab work I can handle and would rather do ahead of time. Thanks for the reply and pics.
