LNF Turbo Upgrade Kit and Chip question

If I go and have GM install the upgrade kit that gives you 30 more HP could I afterwards install a Power programmer or will this mess things up?

By the way hello everyone I just bought my HHR SS on Aug 17, 2010.

Thanks!

Unless the program was specifically written to use the new Tmap sensors it will overwrite the tune put in by the turbo upgrade, and you'll get a car that runs poorly, if at all, with lots of CEL's. BTW, there's no "chip" in modern ECM's. They use flash memory. Also, be advised that the E69 ECM will rat you out to the dealer if you flash in a different calibration, and could possibly be grounds for invalidating the powertrain warranty.

You can do HPTuners on top od the Stage kit. Ive had mine like that for about a year and a half now and i love it. The 3bar map sensors allow for more boost n such. I would recommend it unless you care about your warranty

You can have a Trifecta Tune on top of the GM kit.

Yes you can. I just figured it would be too much of a pain in the A** to keep sending stuff back n forth as i went forward with mods

Theres really one out there. You need to find someone who has the program around your area and knows how to tune the LNF. I highly recommend it. There is a guy that goes by the name Terminator2 (who lives in Florida) on css.net and he does wonders with our cars
