If your looking for an upgrade to the stage 1 do yourself a favor and wait, Trifecta Performance is in the final stage of coming out with an add or should I say an addition to, that will rock for the SS, thats all I can say for how I'm sure TomsHHR will probibly now more then me when the time comes.

Effect on launch control and competition mode?

QUESTION! Can anyone tell me if the Superchips programmer retains the same competition mode and launch control features of the stock program?
Thanx in advance...

Hey guys I'm new to the forum and the hhr. I'm sure this has been covered somewhere but can the superchips program be reversed before taken to the dealership for warranty work?

Yup its easy. Just plug it up and put the stock tune back on it. I've taken my car in several times for work etc and I don't bother detuning it though.

Since the last SS was made in 2010, pretty much all the GM warranties have expired on these cars.
Now, if you're talking about an extended warranty(sold by another company) not really sure about those.

Hey wentzSS,

Your Powertrain warranty will only be voided if the aftermarket modification is found to have caused the issue you're bringing your HHR in for. If it is a third-party service contract (not from General Motors), rather than a warranty, I'm not able to assist with that. I'd be happy to chat about this further in PMs if you'd like.

Let me know how I can be of assistance to you.

Regards,

Geoff G.
