also, it increases the speed and the firmness of the shifts, increases the redline and that makes almost as much of a difference in performance as the power increase does. that was another big + that swayed me in the direction of the cortex tuner. it also comes with a 2 year powertrain warranty as well. You would not believe how nice the transmission shifts now, it is like a different transmission. it is really fast and smooth.

you also get the advanced tune ( where you can adjust things how you like) and an economy tune for max mpg.

it has some really cool features on the tuner that datalogs performance data as well.
I'm also curious to see the results, are you going to do a stock tune dyno and then load the tune to see the difference? What are your current mods if any?

After the Dyno, you might see that the Superchips Cortex tuner will be close to the Stage 1 tune.
The Trifecta tune unlocks more for the extra HP and Torque.

Do you have numbers to back this up?

Hey Tom
How true it is, I'm waiting on Vince to dail in his tune
The only problem I see, which I have now is keeping the frt wheels from spining but the hp is great on the open road.
Viva more hp

If this is true, then the Trifecta tune is a great way to go.

But none of these options, canned tunes, will top a custom tune. Still, it's great to have the options.

Why do I get a Headache back thinking what little Hypertech did for my Z28. LMAO Remindes me of the same limitations. Custom Tunes are always best.

I think any tune would work with the updated MAP sensors but my guess would be not with the program. It may be the same parameters changed as well or may cause a conflict. I bet HPTuner would work with it if they can put HPT on top of the Stage kit.

Not unless they specifically make the tune for that. You would have to call superchips, anyone else would just be offering you advice without any specific knowledge about the tune.
